When I ride my horse I enjoy listening to my music. I carry my IPhone in a small side purse so my horse Jasper and I, can relax and listen. Well I usually play a mixed set from classics to alternative to country. A Tom Petty song came on, You got Lucky. My Jasper started swinging his tail, his head swung slightly from side to side, a rhythm began in his step. It was so noticeable I started to giggle. I found my horses favorite song. He loves Tom Petty’s slower tracks. This is so amazing for us now. I still play all the songs I enjoy but I also make sure to play all of Jasper’s favorites as well. Animals have always been apart of my life but when you realize how they can be true companions you appreciate that their friendship is immeasurable.
